Chelsea are closing in on the signings of AS Monaco midfielder Tièmoue Bakayoko and Juventus full-back Alex Sandro.
Bakayoko is expected to arrive in London after a £35m fee was agreed with the French club, so it is down to finalising personal terms and passing the medical.
The 23-year-old made 25 appearances in Ligue 1 last season. He looks set to replace Nemanja Matic, who is nearing a move up north to rekindle his relationship with Jose Mourinho for a reported fee of £40m.
Chelsea also look set to sign Alex Sandro, giving even more cover to full left wing-back spot, in which Spaniard Marcos Alonso played excellently last season.
Juventus have said they will not stand in Sandro’s way if he wants to leave and according to reports in Italy he has asked to leave the Italian giants.
The Brazilian made 37 appearances last season, impressing, since his arrival from FC Porto in 2015.
The fee for the defender is around €60m, which would see Chelsea break their transfer record which was on the £50m of Fernando Torres from Liverpool.
The deals are most likely to be confirmed on Saturday 1st July when Chelsea begin their new kit deal with Nike, with Willy Cabalero reportedly already signed for the club, however they are just waiting until this date to confirm the signing.
